The B&B

It's Official. We have become B&B people. Staying at the 1861 Inn for our anniversary this year was our very first B&B experience. And we loved it!
Here are some pictures of the lovely place where we stayed in Cincinnati, OH:

The Front:

Going inside: Adam's favorite room in the house...
The Study

Pictures of another guest room:
(we might have to go back for a winter retreat and stay here b/c this room included a nice, cozy fireplace...)

The Outdoors:
(Another guest room that was actually a separate little cottage off the pool)
We enjoyed both the pool and the hot tub

And now to our "quarters"...
Here is a picture of the screened-in porch off of our room:
Lovely...

Enjoying the porch in the morning...
with a beautiful coffee tray that was delivered to our
room each morning a little bit before breakfast...

And inside our room:
(each night we were there, some little homemade treat was awaiting us on the side of the bed, when we got back to our room)

Cute bench in the entry hallway:

The Breakfasts in the morning were wonderful. The wife had actually gone to cooking school and everything we had was gourmet, nicely presented, and very tasty.

A picture of one of our breakfasts:
(we were the only guests, which made it really nice, b/c we got to eat by ourselves)

The Spread:

All in all, we had a marvelous B&B experience. We will most definitely be doing it again.
And, maybe when we are in retirement years, we might just have to open up our own B&B! :-)
(might sound crazy to some of you, but I think it sounds like so much fun!)
