As of today, we have now been married for 4 years!
It's now beginning to feel like we've actually been married for quite a while, which is exciting :-)
Thanks to our wonderful Mom Grusy, we were able to have a big anniversary celebration this year.
(We have decided to start the tradition of always making a big deal of our anniversary, by getting away for a little while, just the 2 of us, each year! We believe it's important for our family and our marriage.)
So, Here are some pictures of what we did to celebrate this year:
Getting ready to go to dinner
Celebrating in style at the yummy, fancy Steakhouse, "Ruth's Chris":
(after dinner, we then went out to a movie, which is something that we don't do very often)
And then, the next morning, we took out for Cincinnati, OH to stay at a Bed and Breakfast for a couple days:
Here's Adam looking oh, so handsome on the B&B front porch:
And here I am "just chilling" on the porch as well
(one the goals of the trip was to take as many self-portraits as possible...)

(Dinner the first night at a mexican restaurant)
Self Portrait #2:
Ice cream after dinner
Relaxing in the Study:
The next day, after a wonderful breakfast, the B&B hosts were so kind to lend us their bikes, and took us down to a bike path that runs along a river.
We did a 18 mile bike ride on a paved, beautiful path. It was so much fun.
Here are pictures from our bike ride:
Stopping for lunch halfway:
Self-portrait #3
Checking out a nearby park after lunch:
Some beautiful flowers along the way...
And getting back on our bikes to finish our ride:
After our bike ride, a dip in the pool definitely sounded refreshing...
Self portrait #4
(after a dip in the pool, we ordered up pizza and ate it on our porch, watched an episode of CSI, took a dip in the hot tub, and then came back to our room to watch a couple more episodes of CSI)
The next day, we headed into Cincinnati.
We did some antique shopping along the way, which was so much fun!
I love that that is something that we both are interested in and enjoy doing together!
Call us weird, but we love it! :-)
Stopping for lunch at PF Chang's:
Self Portrait #5
And then we went to check out the Underground Railroad Museum in downtown Cincinnati:
Downtown Cincinnati:
And ending our trip at a Cincinnati Reds' Game:
(which definitely included some chowing down on some food!)
Self Portrait #6
And then we had to head home.
We had such a wonderful trip!
Thanks so much, mom for making this trip possible for us. We greatly appreciated you watching the kids for us! We know that Ethan and Emma had such a great time with you!
