Champaign, IL.

Before heading to CO for Christmas, we made a stop in IL to see Grandpa and Grandma Wittler. Chris and Steph were supposed to come as well, but b/c of bad weather they were unable to. Chris and Steph, we sure missed you!
But we did still have a wonderful time with Grandpa and Grandma of eating great food, having good converation, and being entertained by Ethan. Here's pictures from our time in Champaign:
Here's Grandma with Ethan outside of Kohls, where she was so kind to buy him a warm winter coat. And boy, did he need it in Champaign. It was 0 degrees and -24 with windchill. Brrr! Thanks grandma and grandpa! We love the coat.
On the way to Kohls
Here's Ethan with Grandpa
Enjoying steps by the fireplace (we don't have steps, so this was a new, fun, very entertaining activity)
Careful...
"mom, i sure wish we had steps like these..."
Hanging out having a good ole' time
Here's Ethan after being loaded into the car for church... it was very cold outside and he sure had something to say about it:

Dad and son ready for church
Looking up at Grandpa and Grandma's nice T.V.
The Hamper that the toys were in became more entertaining than the toys themselves...
"Wow dad, look what this can be used for!"

Having dinner at Monical's Pizza! Umm...Tasty food.
Chris and Steph, we sure wish you could've been there to enjoy it with us!
Ahh... enjoying the vacation life! Living it up to the max, dad!
Ethan enjoyed it too and was quite entertained by the other people/kids in the restaurant
Here's Ethan with 2 of his buds: Dad and Hank (grandpa and grandma's dog)
Ethan loved playing with Hank.
Poor Hank was a trooper and put up with him really well.
Hanging out.

Bundled up to go for a walk around the neighborhood
Enjoying the toys that Grandma got from a friend for Ethan to play with
Loving watching the trainEnjoying one of the books Grandma got Ethan
Reading with Great Grandma
Here's a picture of Ethan on our trip to Champaign with 2 pringles in his hand! He is getting so good at biting into things now that he is getting more teeth.
After 2 hours in the car, Ethan finally crashes out.

What better way to start a vacation than with some tasty Wendys?
(thanks mom and dad harry)
Here we go...
Ethan trying to relax as much as he can in his car seat (he decided the suitcase by him was a pretty good foot-rest)

Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Wittler for hosting us! We had such a wonderful time with you!
