Look Who's Talking: Episode 2

- When Grammy was in town visiting, she brought with her a car ramp with some cars. I was asking Ethan if he liked it, and he responded by saying, "Yeah I like this setup. I like this setup, mom."

- Ethan was later playing with this new ramp and talking as if he was one of the cars speaking to another car, "Wow, I'm nervous," to which the other car said, "it be okay."

- Ethan randomly said to us the other day, "Remember when Uncle Stephen made a fire? That was pretty awesome."

- We recently did some rearranging of furniture when Ethan and Emma had gone to bed. So, the next morning we told Ethan when he woke up that we had changed some things downstairs and that it was pretty different. Ethan responded by saying, "That sounds like fun!"

- While we were gone on a trip to IL Ethan randomly said, "Papaw is my best friend."

- On the same trip, Ethan randomly said, "I want to go home and play with my toys." To which we said, "what toys do you want to play with?" He responded, "Um... my cars.... and .... all kinds of stuff!"

- On the same trip, the Hotel we stayed at had a parrot, who Ethan named Wally. One morning Ethan was watching him and said, "Wally says, 'Get all this junk out of my cage.' "

- When Paps was here visiting, he was cleaning our fireplace for us and when Ethan noticed what he was doing, he came over and said, "Wow Paps! You making it really nice in the fireplace, uh?"

- Paps went to church with us while he was here and he went back to the nursery before us to pick up the kids. When we went back there, Ethan went up to Paps and said, "Paps, where's my family at?"

- Adam and dad made a play table for Ethan to play with outside and while they were making it, we asked Ethan if he knew what they were making. Ethan replied, "Yeah... it will be fantastic!"

- Ethan was being so sweet to Emma in the car the other day and was singing her a sweet song. It went something like this, "Emma is a cutie girl, Emma is a cutie girl... she is so sweet..." Then Ethan said to Emma, "You like that song?" Then he told us Emma's response, "She said, 'Yeah, that makes me happy'. "

- The other night we had a sweet couple over from our church, Nathan and Eve, and one of the first things Ethan did when they arrived was lift up his shirt and exclaim, "These are my nipples!" (what do you say to that one?) .... :-)

- Ethan and Adam were playing and Adam was tickling Ethan, to which Ethan said, "Hey, you're freakin' me out!"
