Something that I have been wanting to do for awhile is start up a consistent post on our blog, which I'm calling, "Look Who's Talking," where I share some of the funny things Ethan (and Emma, when she is talking more) has been saying:
So here's the first "Look Who's Talking" Post, and hopefully there will be more to come:
- We had a dessert fellowship at church recently. Ethan was definitely enjoying the yummy desserts and exclaimed, "This is the best party ever!"
- We've been trying to run a few times a week as a family, and on one of our recent runs, Ethan said, after we were finished running, "Good run everybody. Good run!"
- Ethan's comment in going outside the other day, "It's a hot, summer day."
- After lunch, I helped Ethan off his chair and he said, "Thanks for saving me mom."
- At breakfast the other morning, Ethan had a donut as a special treat. After taking a bite, Ethan said, "that's fantastic!"
- Right when we got home from church Ethan said of Emma, "Let's get this girl to bed."
-Just today Ethan was consoling Emma, and said, "It's okay. Do you want your mommy? She's right over there."
- And one that we felt like maybe we shouldn't have laughed at, but couldn't really help laughing at: Ethan told Adam something and then proceeded to say to Adam, "That's a good boy. Thanks for listening to me."

Love this! So many things I try to remember, but they are gone until they do them again or I write them down! The run cracked me up! I have to share what Mitch told me the other night when he ran. Carson said "Go daddy go, you're a genious!" and Austynn said "Go Dada, Go" - they were doing this when Mitch ran by our neighbors. Kind of funny! Thanks for sharing!!
