Recent, Random Pictures

Ethan's idea of sharing. :-)
The other morning I was giving some cheerios to Emma in her high chair and Ethan wanted to come join her for the snack.
I didn't notice until later when I was looking back through the pictures that Ethan, upon joining Emma to share in the snack, had moved all of the cheerios over to his side of the tray and then put up a "blockade" so that Emma couldn't get to them. :-)
It's crazy that already at such a young age, we are seeing Ethan's sinful nature coming out more and more. And in turn, we realize the sin that we have in our own hearts. All of us are selfish and want things our way.
Praise the Lord that those of us who have been redeemed by the Savior, view sin in our lives as a serious problem, and as something that we need Christ's righteousness to cover, and his sanctifying grace to convict and change our hearts.
Letting down the guard a little...

The past couple weeks I have been watching a sweet little girl from our church, Riley. It has been fun getting to know her better and I love that Ethan has another toddler around him, who can teach him more about how God calls us to interact with and love others.

Here are a couple cute pictures from a Kroger shopping trip we took together:

Ethan and Riley cruising in the Car Cart
(Ethan loves the car carts and I love Kroger for having them... it definitely makes for an easier, more enjoyable grocery shopping experience)
I also love Kroger for the free cookies they give to kids. This is a huge help in occupying a toddler for awhile. As these pictures show, Riley and Ethan quite enjoyed their cookies on this trip:

Look who's starting to pull herself up onto things! :-)

love this post! I also LOVE Kroger and their carts and free cookies! That is the only way we get through the grocery store! Great to see this update. And kudos to for having 3 kids under 3 at the store at the same time!! What a woman!
