A couple weeks ago, I and the kids took a trip out to CO to see our newest niece/cousin, Ellie Kathyrn.
Although we had a very difficult flight going and coming, which resulted in me breaking down in tears at one (or maybe two) particular moment, we are so glad that we went. It was so much fun to see family and to meet Ellie. She is absolutely adorable and such a blessing to our family already. Here are some pictures (yes there are many) from our trip:
Paps and Ethan playing soccer outside
Gigi holding Ellie
Conked Out
One of the days while we were visiting, one of Gigi's good friends, Wilma, invited us over to see her 7 week-old puppies. They were super cute and it was fun to see Ethan interacting with them.
Ethan, a number of times, just laid on the floor and wanted the puppies to come "get him"
Ahh...
"watch out Ethan, here he comes!"
Not too sure at first...

Paps, Aunt Kel, and Emma at my favorite breakfast place, the Egg and I

And here is sweet Ellie Girl

And here we go with a little photo shoot of Ellie Kathyrn:

Such a sweet girl and so tiny
(i can't believe that Ethan and Emma were ever that small)
Emma with Aunt Kel again. Such a cool Aunt.
So much sleeping...
and a few moments of being awake.
Ethan wanting to assist in feeding his new cousin (who he kept calling baby Leah, which is his other new cousin... too many cousins to keep track of. :-) how wonderful.)
ahh... Aunt Missy kisses
(Ethan adores his Aunt Missy. It's so sweet)
Our sweet Emma Girl

This girl is a CHAMP at eating so far! She is loving solids!
And another picture of me with Ellie.
This was the night that I first met her.
Ellie, what a sweet girl you are. I can't wait to see you again and am so thankful that the Lord has placed me in your life to be your Aunt. I pray that the Lord chooses to save you at a young age and that I get to watch Him use your life in great ways for His glory. I love you and am so glad that I got to come and meet you.
Jack and Kelli, congrats on your beautiful, new girl. She is precious and an amazing picture of God's grace and goodness to you! We are so excited about this new addition to the family. :-)

Jenny, thanks for posting all these pictures, we love checking the Grusy blog and seeing updates! Love and miss you all!
I loved all the pictures Jen! Ellie seems so much bigger to me already than when I saw her at just a few days old! Its always so fun to see pictures of your sweet kiddos. You are looking so skinny and great; you have to teach me all of your tricks after this next baby comes!
Love

Awww - I love the picture of Ellie smiling, so cute! Looks like you had an awesome trip with some great quality family time! What happened on the airplane, though? That sounds no fun.
