Louisville has recently had some really nice weather. As a result, we have been enjoying getting out more as a family. We are most definitely ready for the summer. :-)
One good-looking GRILL MASTER
(we recently received a free electric grill from friends of ours from church, the Stallmans. We have really been enjoying cooking out on it and Adam has already made us some AMAZING meals on it. Although he hasn't had much grilling experience before this, he has been doing a great job. I am loving it!!)
"Living it Up" at Louisville's great parks:
Here's Ethan enjoying the Waterfront Park close to where we live.
(This is going to be a great summer activity for us)
Still filling out his trunks pretty well... :-)
Making friends at the park... or at least trying to...
(It was pretty cute, Ethan went right up to this other boy at the park and tried to give him a "high-five" and "knuckles." Even though this boy wasn't very interested, Ethan persisted and pretty much put his hand in this boy's face until he really had no choice but to give him a "five") When Ethan decides he wants a high-five or knuckles, he doesn't give up too easily. :-)
(Adam is holding Silas Lugbill in this picture)
The Lugbills are friends of ours from D.C., who went to our same church, Capital Hill Baptist.
They are moving out here in July to start up seminary. We were blessed to be able to have them over for dinner while they were in town the other night checking out places to live. Their little Silas is super cute and we really enjoyed getting to meet him for the first time.
Lugbill Family Portrait.
Nathan and Jessica, we are so excited that you guys are moving out here. What a blessing you have been in our lives since we first met you. We look forward to continued fellowship with you. We know we will be encouraged in the faith by getting to see you more often. The Lord is truly kind in allowing us to once again live in the same place. We are thankful for the work that we see the Lord doing in your lives and we will be praying that He gives you wisdom and provision in this time of transition. Please look us up when you are officially back in town! :-)
