Recent Ethan Sightings...

SITTING IN MY BOOSTER SEAT READING

(Ethan really likes sitting in chairs these days.  Numerous times a day he wants us to put him on the couch or in the other chair in the living room.  He also likes to sit in his booster seat, get back up and sit in it again.)  Who knew that just sitting in different seats could be so entertaining? : )

READING BOOKS WITH MY DADDY

(It has been so fun to watch Ethan's interest in books grow over the last couple weeks.  He now requires that we read to him before and after nap time/bedtime and a few times in between.  He is able to sit for a story so much better and is more engaged with making different animal noises that go with the pictures in the book and also pointing out different things.  We can now ask him, "Ethan, where's the doggy?", and he is able to point right at it.)

This next picture is of a bookshelf in Ethan's room.  He points to it before and after naps to let us know that he would like to be read to.  He enjoys being able to pick out books on his own. 

ORGANIZING, ORGANIZING... SO MANY THINGS TO ORGANIZE

(This pantry closet is one of Ethan's favorite things to "organize."  He especially likes taking tea bags in and out of this tea box.  It's a lot of hard work, but totally worth the fun).

(One day when I was getting ready, I found Ethan in my closet "organizing" my shoes for me.  Thanks Ethan!  Our apartment wouldn't be near as clean if it wasn't for all your hard work and determination! :-)  )

WATCHING A FAMILY VIDEO, COMPLETELY MESMERIZED.

(Another thing that Ethan has been wanting to do a lot of is watch a family video of ours that Adam put music to.  Sometimes when he sees that the computer is out, he will point at it and make a noise that means, "mom and dad, can I please watch that one cool video again?."  The video entertains him for quite awhile and he loves the music!)
