One Harry Visit.

A few days ago, we had Mom and Dad Harry, Grams, Melissa, and Shelley and Addison Kennedy come to Louisville for a visit.  It was such a treat.  Here are some pictures from their short time here:

This picture shows how big Ethan has gotten and how small his infant carrier is (he has a different car seat now, but Adam had it with him at work, so this was our only alternative).
Grandps was very nice to load Ethan in it, but when I came out I realized that dad had strapped the seatbelt right across the top of the car seat instead of through the base of it... Shelley and I had a good laugh about this! :-)  Thanks dad for trying!
A walk in the park with the little ones

These grandkids are sure loved!  What a blessing!

A sweet picture of a tired little girl

Look at Grams handle her grandkids!
(Addy now has hair that is long enough for bow hair clips... too cute)

Jam-Making with the Expert: Grandma.
We made strawberry-rhubarb jam and boy is it tasty!!
Thanks Grams for showing us all the tricks to making your yummy jam.
(I'm glad that I have a few jars to last me awhile, because I am not too confident that I could do it on my own...)
The Finished Product

The boys worked on our car while the ladies did cooking inside
Here are the 2 Mechanics

Looking good babe!
Dad, thanks so much for all your help with the car!  It has been such a huge blessing to us to now be driving our car around without it shaking all the time.  We thank the Lord for so evidently providing for us through your mechanical expertise and help.

Dad, Mom, Grandma, Melissa, Shelley, and Addison: thank you all for coming up for a visit.  Although it was a super quick visit, we sure enjoyed seeing all of you and are always so encouraged by our time spent with you.  We praise God for the work that we so evidently see Him doing in all of your lives and we are thankful to Him for spurring us on in the faith through your godly example and encouragement.  Love you all and look forward to seeing you again.

Again, DO sooooo MUCH enjoy and appreciate your "postings"!!

YES, indeed, the pleasure / encouragement / AND consistent FUN in being with "Yawl" has kept us going for a few more days here in Colorado! :)

We need to credit Shell Ann for her predictable and actual responsiveness to encouraging us ALL to make "the pilgrimage" up to Looavul :) - But, we KNOW she is MOST sincere when she says "whatta Blessing it has been for her and Addy also".

Of course "GG" ( EVERYONE - but most of all, Great Grandma - LOVES Jen Jen's newly created label for Grandma Rutherford !!) is to be credited with the Jam making tutorial / [intense :) ] training agenda - and, if The Grusys of Looavul still have a Saturn sedan car that's running - well, then OBVIOUSLY, The Lord gets the credit! :)!!!

As always, thx for the updates - WE DO LOVE 'EM !!!!......

Yeah! You'll be able to share Saturn stories with your kids. Dad and I still tell our Ford Fairlane stories. Of course the Saturn is one color, has heat and doors that open!
