We are so thankful to the Lord for so many things this year: the life and breath that he has given us, the salvation that He has so kindly and graciously given us in Christ, our precious family that we dearly love, our son Ethan; the joy that he is and the ways that God is teaching us so much through him, and our marriage and the numerous ways that we have continued to see Him draw us closer to Himself through our union. The Lord is good and faithful! Praise be to Him!
Here I am "in action" with my very first thanksgiving turkey!
For Thanksgiving this year, we had a wonderful meal over at our place (in which everyone contributed). 2 sweet families joined us: The Reeses (Paul, Julia, and Mayia) and the Lucases (Drew, Patty, and Micah)
It was great fun. We had a wonderful time together eating and sharing how the Lord has answered prayer in our lives and what things we are thankful for. We are so blessed to have both the Reeses and the Lucases in our lives.
What would a blog post be without a few added pics of Ethan?...
Here's Adam and Ethan reading a book together (Ethan has recently become very interested in books. He is constantly walking over to us with a book in his hand that he wants us to read to him)
Here's Ethan sporting his new beanie from Uncle Stephen, Aunt Shell, and cousin Addy
"Oh the temptation to just rip this thing off my head..."
