For Memorial Day weekend we headed up to New York City for a visit. This is something we have been wanting to do for awhile before we move.
The picture above is us waiting at the subway station. The subway in NYC was crazy. There were just tons of people and it is true, as people had told us, that you have to push your way on to the train, otherwise you can't get on.
Here's Ethan hanging out in our hotel room
Taking a pit stop on the way up to NYC. Ethan is playing with a granola bar wrapper here.

We stopped and enjoyed some jazz musicians in Central Park
Beautiful Central Park. It was amazing. I would love to live somewhere that had an amazing, huge park like this. As you can see from this pictured, it was beautiful weather while we were there.
Cruising around Central Park
The Big city... we thought D.C. was big... :-)
At the top of Rockefeller Center, Top of the Rock Observation Deck.
The view was amazing.
Adam and Ethan figuring out where to go next. Ethan is excited about the next activity.

Ethan did so well over the weekend. He was such a good little traveler.
Ahh... the Grusy Family. God has so kindly blessed us with each other.

Taking in some of the NYC night life... it was pretty crazy. Tons of people everywhere.
Ethan and I in the subway train. This picture was taken right before Ethan crashed out. We ran him pretty hard, but he hung in with us so well.
Our NYC trip was really fun and we so enjoyed being able to spend time together checking out a new place. I am so thankful for such a kind, loving, and patient husband, especially in a place like NYC, where it's easy to become impatient about many things (ie- driving, subway system, getting around). We were also thankful that Ethan was so good. It is quite different going on vacation with a baby, but we are learning the importance of being flexible and being thankful for the time God has given us to be together.

New York, New York a heck of a town, the Bronx is up and the Battery's down. The people ride in a hole in the ground...Looks like it was quite a trip, beautiful weather and terrific views. The skyline looks so much different than the ABQ skyline!
